Who we are
c4site.com.au is run by Caleb Scott, ABN 26 477 523 297, in Perth, Western Australia. For anything about your details, email hello@c4site.com.au.
What we collect, and why
When you send an enquiry, we keep what you type: your name, your email, your organisation or school, the sector, format and group size you pick, and your message. We use it to reply and to arrange a session.
When you download a free pack, we keep your school email, your first name and school if you give them, which packs you chose, and where you came from (for example, a link in one of our emails). We use it to keep a record of who has the packs.
The same form has a box that asks whether we may email you about C4Site’s school sessions. It starts unticked. We store whether you ticked it, and the exact words it showed, so we can show that you agreed. We only send those emails if you ticked it, and every one lets you unsubscribe. The packs download either way.
When you answer our questionnaire (we send a link after you first get in touch), we keep your answers, what you write in your own words, and your name, email, organisation and role. We use them to prepare for our first conversation with you, and to show you pieces from our library that fit what you told us. Your last answer, in your own words, is also read by a language model that Cloudflare runs for us, to match it to our material. Cloudflare says it doesn’t use what we send it to train AI models. Our How we use AI page says where else we use it.
While you answer, the questionnaire saves your answers in your own browser, so a refresh doesn’t lose them. Once you send them, only your results stay there.
To stop spam, our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile. It collects your IP address and some technical details about your browser to tell people from bots. Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum explains what it collects and why.
To see how the site is used, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts visits to each page and notes which site sent you here. It also records which country you’re in and how quickly pages load for you. Cloudflare says it does this without cookies or anything else stored in your browser, and without fingerprinting you by your IP address or browser. It doesn’t record anything after a question mark in a web address. Cloudflare’s Web Analytics page explains it.
What we don’t do. The site sets no cookies of its own, and runs no advertising trackers. We don’t sell your details.
Where it’s kept
- Enquiries, questionnaire answers and pack records are stored in a database in C4Site’s own account with Cloudflare, Inc., which also hosts this site. We asked for the database to sit in the Oceania region, but Cloudflare is a US company and may handle data in other countries.
- A copy of each enquiry and each questionnaire, and a note of each pack download, is emailed to our inbox, hello@c4site.com.au, which Microsoft 365 hosts. The email is sent through Resend, an email delivery service, which processes it in the United States.
- We don’t share enquiries or pack records with any other business, our parent company included.
- If you unsubscribe from our emails, your address goes on one do-not-email list that we share with our parent company, so neither business emails you again. The list is kept in our parent company’s email outreach system, hosted by Supabase in Sydney.
Nobody else sees your details, apart from those providers doing their jobs for us.
How long we keep it
We keep questionnaire answers for twelve months after we were last in touch with you, then delete them. We keep enquiries and pack records while we need them to reply to you and run sessions. If you ticked the box to hear from us, we keep your email for that as well. Ask us and we’ll delete your details, unless the law says we must keep them. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a do-not-email list, so we never contact you again by mistake.
Seeing, fixing or deleting your details
Email hello@c4site.com.au and ask. We’ll tell you what we hold, and correct or delete it if you want.
Schools and students
These forms are for teachers and staff, not students. Our school sessions and packs never ask for student data, and no student details go into anything we use.
Complaints
If you think we’ve mishandled your details, email us first and we’ll look into it. If you’re not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this page
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
